Sally Hansen No More Mistakes Manicure Clean-Up Pen

Even after years of practice I can still be pretty useless at painting my nails neatly so when I saw this Sally Hansen Manicure Clean Up Pen I thought it would be perfect for me. It works by just erasing the polish where ever you rub it and comes with two extra tips. So, after I have painted my nails I grabbed it to clean them up and.. Nothing. Id did absolutely nothing because it was completely dried out. The package was sealed and the pen was shut so I have no idea what happened. I even tried dipping the tips into nail polish remover but it didn't work.

I thought I would make this post so that if you were thinking of buying this, to tell you to be aware that it might be dried out like mine was. It's a huge shame because I feel like if this worked, it could have been a very useful tool to have to help painting my nails easier.

What do you use to clean up yours nails? If you use a brush I would love to know which one you use because I can't seem to find one that I like to use for this purpose!

January Favourites

Since the month is almost over now and I wasn't sure what to blog about today I decided to put up my January favourites. Some months I don't really seem to have favourites or anything that I have in particular been enjoying over other things but this month I have been really loving a few of the new things I have got recently.

MAC MSF in Soft and Gentle // Angel by Theirry Mugler perfume // EOS lipbalm in Blueberry // Babylips lip balm in Quenced // Nailene nail polish remover // Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue hand and body lotion // Bic Miss Soleil razors

What have been your favourites so far this month?

Nailene nail polisher remover

I had heard that this nailene nail polish remover was really good and so was tempted to try it myself but my experience in the past with these kind of removers, where you stick your finger into the sponge and wiggle it around, has never really been good. That on top of that fact that I feel like these are quiet pricey at around £7, I didn't end up buying it. I then received this as a gift which sparked my interest in it all over again.

I am someone who really doesn't like taking my nail polish off. I also have a weird finger nail where nail polish gets stuck under my skin around the nail and it's really hard (and hurts) to rub at it to try and get it off. So, it came the time to take off the nail polish I was wearing and I decided to use this and  see how it worked.

I can't begin to tell you how impressed I am with it or how well this actually works! It took off all my nail polish (even on my stubborn finger nail) within a few seconds. It didn't even leave any tiny bits or streaks behing on my nail. The polish was completely gone.

I expected the inside to be sponge like all the other versions I have tried but instead its a hard plastic with bristles that you rub your nail against. It's quick and easy and if you hate taking your nail polish off like me, I really recommend to try this out. I love it!

This was £7 and I believe it was from Tesco
Have you tried this Nailene nail polisher remover? What did you think?

July Favourites

My first favourite this month is the MUA Undressed Palette - I've really been enjoying playing around with this this month and so far I'm pretty impressed. My second favourite is the Cherry Blossom scent by Bath and Bodyworks - I have both the body lotion and the body spray and the smell is amazing, I'm going to be very sad when they both run out! Next are two polishes: OPI's Bright Lights Big Colour and Models Own' Indian Ocean - I have already featured these two polishes on my blog but I love them both so much I decided to include them in my favourites too. Both colours are so pretty for summer. Another favourite has been the Sally Hansen nail polish remover - I hate taking my nail polish off and so far this is the best remover I have used. My last favourite for this month is the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle reconstructor conditioner - I have very dry hair and this make it feel so soft and smooth!

What have been your favourites for the month of July?
